Having had a few false starts this week, I now feel as though I am in creative mode.  So I will spend the majority of the day painting in the studio.  Sometimes I just have to let a painting rest for a few days and keep looking at it to move on.  But I feel that one of my problems is when I try to plan ahead, even thinking about the painting I am currently working on in the middle of the night.

My paintings seem to come together when I let myself go and don’t think about it …  sort of going with the flow of things. I do love the colors on my canvases right now, so hopefully I will have some good progress to report after today.  The creative juices are flowing …
